Summer Cooler

The colors in this kit reminded me of summer as a kid.  I remember drinking red kool-aid, running around the neighborhood with my sister.  We would be three streets over and hear mom call us for dinner.  We always got "in trouble" because we would ignore her the first three times she called for us, then by the fourth time, we could hear it in her voice...she was NOT happy, lol.  Back then, there wasn't a care in the world.  We could play outside all day long and only check in when we were hungry, thirsty or had to use the bathroom.  We used to go on family camping trips, hang out by the fire at night roasting marshmallows and telling stories.  As a kid, it seemed like we would have a family reunion once a month.  We would get the whole family together and go to the lake for a BBQ...I miss those days.

I meant for this kit to be fun and full of color.  Not everything came out quite like I had planned but thats ok, it keeps me practicing.  When I practice, you get free stuff, lol.  Hope you like it.  Enjoy!

Sorry, links have expired.  This kit is available in my store at Scrapdebris

Of course I made a few bragbook pages.  I only got 4 pages made this time.  I've got too many things going on right now.

That's it for now, check back soon, I'm still working on the Birthday kit and maybe a Dad's Day kit.  We'll see if time will allow.

  6. Thanks for this lovely kit. Love the colors. I also fondly remember those (for me very long ago) carefree days of summer when it was safe to be all over the neighborhood.
